Secondly, make sure it’s OKAY with your employer! You don’t want to just show up to work one day and be fired for having dreadlocks and I don’t want to be responsible for it! They can be a great springboard for starting a dialogue with your employer or boss that will lead to them hopefully approving your decision to get your dreadlocks.
